Sacrificing Your Life
You
will sacrifice your life without even knowing it. The strive for
love and approval from one or both of your parents is the major
driving force to your destruction because the need is so great.
The emptiness inside is longing for fulfillment. As you climb the
ladder to achieve this, the steps on the ladder go higher. You can
never do enough to get what you want or what you expect.
The problem is that you are so emotionally involved;
you do not see your parents and their inability to give you what
you want and what you need. You then gear your life to the maximum,
full throttle ahead. As you experience the disappointments and failures
in life, you shut down the process of healing and forge ahead. Now
your health is in jeopardy because you have reached the straw that
broke the camel's back. Your options are exhausted but you do not
give up. Now you can do the opposite - Play the sick card and receive
the love and the attention you want and deserve.
Your life has gone to hell in a hand-basket. The
things you enjoyed are no longer in the picture and are becoming
a past memory. You must realize that you have stopped your life
in order to receive the external gratification, which did not work.
You must go internal and create you own gratification and enthusiasm
of how talented you are, and most importantly, you are doing this
for yourself. Any approval or praise that comes from the outside
is icing on the cake.
You must take control of your life and decide what
is going to make you happy, without burning the candle at both ends.
You can have it all if you put your priorities in the right order.
You are the only one that can
give yourself approval and
make yourself happy.
Everything is within you to return to health or to destroy
your health. The big decision will be which way you choose. To get
healthy, it will require you to take charge of your life. You must
go back and dismiss your parents as your caretakers and the authorities
of your life. This does not mean that your parents were wrong. It
is saying that you are ready to be an adult and live your life the
way you want to.
No one can change your internal environment. Only
you know what is inside. Because you have become the master of hiding
your emotions, it will take a lot of courage and commitment to overcome
the resistance. Since this is internal, you are in charge and only
you can neutralize it and release it. Yes, others are the reason
that you have accumulated this programming of sacrificing your well-being
for external gratification but the bottom line is that you are the
sole owner.
You have the ability to achieve excellence, but
you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Also, with this internal
drive, you have the ability to make life changes. These life changes
are for you personally and no one else.
This is the time for
you
to take control and change the direction to happiness.
Look around
and see the positive support you have to assist you on your journey. They represent true love and accept you for who you are, not what
you think they want you to be.
Your spirit and your soul want to emerge into the
beautiful butterfly it was designed to be. The layers of ideas of
how you should live your life must be dissolved and discarded. As
a child, you were subconsciously programmed by your parent's belief
systems and their behavior. They were only doing the best that they
could, according to their subconscious programming as children.
It is your responsibility to take charge and to
change your life into what you want.
